S45 Tiltrotator

A tiltrotator with extremely high rotational speed. Centrally mounted in an oversized SKF 32024X bearing, purpose‑built for this application. The image to the right shows the product based on the complete drawings now available. Since the outer race of the slew ring allowed brake shoes to make contact, we decided that this should indeed be the solution. The right‑hand image shows the tiltrotator with the added brake shoes.

It was sold to a customer from whom we never heard again. That was seventeen years ago. The design is compact, with the S45 fully integrated into the technology.

Trademark and domains are also for sale. Swap to electric motor would be an interesting development.
